Looks like someone has
an extra spring in their step.
Miley Cyrus and
Patrick Schwarzenegger both looked like the cat that got the cream as they
stepped out separately in Los Angeles, California, on Friday - just a day after
they confirmed their relationship with some serious PDA.
Miley was clearly in a
great mood after a night of college football and kissing, as while usually not
a big fan of having her picture taken, the star hammed it up for photographers
on Friday.
The 21-year-old smiled
away, flashed peace signs and poked out her tongue in her signature move as
photographers snapped away.
For once, the Won't
Stop, Can't Stop singer wore a toned down and covered up ensemble as she ran
errands.
For her Friday out and
about, the 21-year-old donned a pair of vintage cut off overalls over black
tights and a black cap sleeve top.
The star then
accessorised her look with a pair of patent leather creeper lace ups, a black
and white silk scarf, round lensed sunglasses and a Chanel necklace.
While Miley may have
been toning down her fashion slightly, across town her new beau was trying out
a slightly more edgy ensemble than what he normally wears.
Patrick headed to the
bank with a friend dressed with a distinct streetwear vibe.
The 21-year-old son of
Arnold Schwarzenegger wore a pair of black jeans with reinforced knees a long
blue and black t-shirt under a denim jacket with leather sleeves.
The occasional actor added a pair of high top leather sneakers and wore what was left of his hair - he currently sports shaved sections - to fly around messily.
Patrick was also in a
good mood, smiling away as he and his friend walked along.
Miley and Patrick both
have reasons to feel good on Friday, as the night before they were very much
enjoying each other's company at the USC versus Berkeley football game at the
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Not worrying who saw the pair indulged in some heavy PDA and, at one point, the singer moved in for a major liplock with arms wrapped around the strapping young model while Patrick recorded the moment on his iPhone.
While the pair may seem
like an unusual couple, Patrick has always had a little crush on Miley.
The model revealed back
in 2011 she was who had his eye on.
Speaking to Details
magazine in 2011, the then spoken for Patrick, said in the future there was a
few Hollywood starlets he would be interested in.
According to the
magazine, the then 17-year-old 'cockily' referred to his social media friends
Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez as 'girls for the future'.
But he knew who would
be his first pick: 'My eye, though, is set on Miley.'
While the kiss
confirmed they are now indeed - as Patrick had hoped - dating, the twosome also
caused a stir on Wednesday after being spotted together at a Q&A for
Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore's new movie Still Alice at Hollywood's
Egyptian Theatre.
They were later seen at
his family home trying to keep things low-key as they hung out with Patrick's
sister Katherine and his mom Maria Shriver, who is executive producer of the
film.
Reportedly, however,
Maria is not as big of a Miley fan as her son.
A source told: 'It is
beyond true that Maria Shriver disapproves of the relationship that Patrick is
starting with Miley. She is so controlling when it comes to the image of the
family and this is eating her up inside.'
The insider added: 'She
is getting some support from other family members as well, but she isn't
getting the same support from Arnold because Arnold is happy with whatever
Patrick gets himself into in the girls department.'
